Rob Stringer’s story begins at his birth on July 4^th, back in 1951 in Nebraska, and hasn’t ended yet.  Rob Stringer attributes his patriotic spirit to his Independence Day birth.  He was an Air Force member for 35 years, devoting himself to protecting our country’s freedom.  He remains a devoted United States veteran.

Rob’s story has a tinge of tragedy.  He was married for no less than forty-one years to the love of his life, Sarah.  They had four children who decided to settle in all places of the United States, and their scattered family was an influence for Rob Stringer and Sarah’s grand retirement plan.  This plan included travelling by RV through the United States together, putting together a Family Tree.  Things started going wrong in 2009 when Sarah learned she had cancer while in California.  The next year, she lost her fight with the disease, and left Rob alone to travel by himself.

Rob Stringer received a letter from Sarah not to open until after her death, and in it she told him he must carry on the trip.  It was their retirement dream together, and Rob hasn’t let it fall apart since.  He’s a real history buff, traveling all different places with a rich history in culture.  He visits family and friends along the way and enriches his mind with new history.
